Distribution of Masks and Sanitizers- In the starting phase of COVID-19 Lockdown,  we have seen the people were not practicing the social distancing properly. As social distancing is the most effective activity to stop the pandemic to spread at the community level. To sensitize the community on social distancing we have distributed the masks and sanitizers and given the message of social distancing in community. This activity helped us in awareness creation about precautions of COVID-19. We have also distributed the mask to MNREGA Workers and migrant laborers.

Distribution of Dry Ration-

GVSS distributed the dry ration to the underprivileged. 15 Days Ration including Rice-10 Kg, Wheat Flour- 5Kg, Vegetable- (5kg Onion and 5Kg Potato), Spices (100 Grams Turmeric and Chilli Powder each, 1 Kg. Salt), Pulses (1 Kg Arhar Dal and Chana Dal each), and Cooking Oil- 1 Lt., etc. distributed to 1250 plus families.

Provide access to information and dissemination-

GVSS played a crucial role in collecting all the COVID -19 relief updates from different authentic sources and in disseminating this information to the community. During this process, regular inputs and support given to the community level facilitators and team members of the organization to spread authenticated information between the community. We have also developed and shared awareness material (Posters) in regional languages (Hindi and Awadhi) to reach out to most marginalized groups.

COVID-19 Paddy Kits Distribution-

GVSS distributed COVID-19 Paddy Kits to 3700 Marginalized Farmers. 3 Kg. of good quality paddy seed was distributed to each farmer along with the Mask and Gloves. Norm of Social Distancing was completely followed at the time of distribution.
